System Requirements

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
  • Active internet connection

Installation Steps

  1. Go to www.privatebyright.com/download and select Windows.
  2. Download the installer (.exe file).
  3. Run the installer. If prompted by Windows User Account Control, click Yes to allow the installation.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
  5. Open the PrivateByRight VPN app from your Start menu or desktop.
  6. Sign in with your email address and password.
  7. Select a server or click Quick Connect.
  8. Click Connect.

The kill switch is enabled by default on Windows, blocking all internet traffic if the VPN connection drops unexpectedly.
