How to connect to the VPN for the first time

Once you've installed the app and signed in, connecting to PrivateByRight VPN takes a single click.

1. Open the PrivateByRight VPN app.
2. Sign in with your email address and password.
3. Select a server from the list, or tap Quick Connect to automatically connect to the fastest nearby server.
4. Tap or click Connect.

Once connected:

• Your internet traffic is encrypted using AES-256 or ChaCha20 (depending on protocol).
• Your real IP address is hidden — websites see the VPN server's IP instead.
• Your DNS queries are routed through PrivateByRight's private DNS servers, preventing leaks.

The kill switch is enabled by default. If the VPN connection drops unexpectedly, all internet traffic is blocked until the VPN reconnects — preventing your real IP from being exposed.
